SUNLIGHT PIPE is a well  researched, designed and produced product consisting of many components. Sometimes this product is termed as DAYLIGHT HARVESTING SYSTEM or SUNLIGHT TUNNEL or DAYLIGHT TUBE or SUN TUNNEL or SOLAR TUBULAR LIGHT.

Our Trade Mark product SUNLIGHT PIPE is comprising of specific design and materials as listed below. 

  1. a) Sunrays collecting ribbed both side 50 micron UV coated Polycarbonate Dome
  2. b) HDPE Roof flashing, acting as adapter between roof and polycarbonate dome
  3. c) Aluminuim reflector tube
  4. d) ABS “L” & “U” rings to install diffuser dome
  5. e) Small diamond shape surfaced polycarbonate diffuser dome.
  • SUNLIGHT PIPE works on a simple principle of how  SUNRAYS react after falling on various surfaces while travelling.
  • To explain more, Sunrays falling on transparent dome shape deflects to a specific angle , bends inward and again keeps travelling further in the aluminium reflector tube.
  • Tube being cylindrical it keeps reflecting the sunrays downwards.
  • At the end of tube small diamond shape surfaced dome scatters the sunrays to a specific and defined diameter on floor from a defined height.
  • Height and diameter of scattering sun rays, depends upon Model of SUNLIGHT PIPE.

       SUNLIGHT PIPE  – 4 Models.

  • (1) 300D (2) 400D (3) 600D (4) 800D
  • All models are same for use either on RCC OTS or Metal sheet roof except HDPE roof flashing which is different in RCC applications and Metal sheet roof applications.
  • Selection criteria is different for different models, ranging from 3.0 mtr. roof height to 12.0 mtr. roof height ( RCC / Metal sheet roof)
  • These range has an aluminium reflector tube below the Sunrays collector dome and at the lower end of reflector tube a Sunrays diffuser dome is fixed with help of ABS “L” & “U” rings.

These models normally give output of 250 -300 LUX below and  this out put is directly proportional to ambient LUX level of 95000.
